----------------------------------------------------------

POT HOLDERS:
Work the pot holders in the round in 2 parts before working them tog.

FRONT:
Work 4 ch with vanilla on hook size 4.5 mm and form a ring with 1 sl st. Continue with PATTERN and STRIPES - see explanation above. READ COLOUR CHANGE! Repeat A.2 6 times in total on round. NOTE: A.1 shows how diagram beg and ends. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When entire diagram has been worked vertically, there are 90 dc + 1 ch on round. Fasten off.

BACK:
Work 4 ch with vanilla and form a ring with 1 sl st
ROUND 1: READ CROCHET INFO! - see explanation above Work 12 tr in ch-ring.
ROUND 2: Work 2 tr in every tr = 24 tr.
ROUND 3: Work * 2 tr in first tr, 1 tr in next tr *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 36 tr.
ROUND 4: Work * 2 tr in first tr, 1 tr in each of the next 2 tr *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 48 tr.
ROUND 5: Switch to mustard and work 2 dc in each of the first 2 tr, * 2 dc in next tr, 1 dc in the next 3 tr *, repeat from *-* until 2 tr remain, 2 dc in each of the remaining 2 tr = 63 dc.

Then work pattern and stripes from 5th round in A.1 and A.2. Repeat A.2 6 times in total on round. When entire diagram has been worked vertically, there are 90 dc + 1 ch on round. Fasten off.
Now work the 2 parts tog with peach as follows:
Place the 2 parts on top of each other with RS outwards. Fasten strand with 1 sl st at beg of round on the front of pot holder and work 14 ch for strap, then work 1 sl st in the first ch on round. Then work through both parts on pot holder: * Work 1 dc in each of the next 14 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* 5 more times, finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round. Fasten off.

Work another pot holder the same way.

Diagram

= work 4 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st
= 1 ch
= 1 dc around ch/ch-space
= 1 dc in st
= 1 tr around ch-ring
= 1 tr in st
= Work 2 tr tog as follows: Work 1 tr but wait with last pull through (= 2 sts on hook), then work 1 tr more in same tr/around ch but on last pull through, pull yarn through all sts on hook.
= Work 3 triple tr tog around ch-space as follows: * Work 1 triple tr but wait with last pull through *, repeat from *-* 1 more time (= 3 sts on hook), work 1 more triple tr but on last pull through, pull yarn through all 4 sts on hook.
= beg round with 3 ch, and finish round 1 sl st in 3rd ch at beg of round
= beg round with 1 ch, and finish round 1 sl st in 1st ch on round
= beg round by working sl sts until first ch-space, then work 5 ch (replaces 1st triple tr). Finish round with 1 sl st in the 3 triple tr worked tog
= Work as shown in diagram, AT THE SAME TIME inc 3 dc evenly on round (= 63 dc on round).
= NOTE: On this round the no of sts will not fit A.2 but no of sts will fit on round. Work * 1 tr in each of the first/next 3 dc, 1 ch *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 63 tr with 1 ch between every 3rd tr + the 3 ch at beg of round.
= Work 2 tr tog as follows: Work 1 tr but wait with last pull through (= 2 loops on hook), work 1 more tr but on last pull through, pull yarn through all 3 sts on hook.
