PATTERN: See diagram A.1. The diagram show rounds in pattern seen from RS.

CROCHET TIP:
After last dc on the round, continue to next round with 1 dc in next ch-space (= first ch-space on next round). NOTE: Insert a marker at the beg of round between last ch and first dc on the next round, move the marker upwards.
----------------------------------------------------------

PONCHO:
The piece is worked top down. Work 95-111-119 LOOSE ch on hook size 6 mm / J/10 with Alpaca Bouclé and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: Work ch 6, 1 dc in 4th ch on ring (= first ch-space on round). Work * ch 3, 1 dc in 4th ch*, repeat from *-* until 3 ch remain on round. Work ch 3, 1 dc in first ch-space on round = 24-28-30 ch-spaces on round.
ROUNDS 2-3: Read CROCHET TIP - see explanation above. Work * ch 3, 1 dc in next ch-space *, repeat from *-* the entire round (last dc is in 1st ch-space).
ROUND 4: Work * ch 3, 1 dc in next ch-space *, repeat from *-* the entire round AT THE SAME TIME inc 6-4-6 ch-spaces by working in every 4th-7th-5th ch-space as follows: ch 3, 1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc. Last dc is in first ch-space = 30-32-36 ch-spaces on round. REMEMBER THE CROCHET GAUGE!
ROUND 5: Work as 2nd round.
ROUND 6: Work * ch 3, 1 dc in next ch-space *, repeat from *-* the entire round AT THE SAME TIME inc by working in every other ch-space as follows: ch 3, 1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc = 45-48-54 ch-spaces on round.
Work as round 2 until piece measures approx. 29-29-31 cm / 11½"-11½"-12 1/4".
ROUND 7: Work * ch 3, 1 dc in next ch-space *, repeat from *-* the entire round AT THE SAME TIME inc 9-12-9 ch-spaces by working in every 5th-4th-6th ch-space as follows: ch 3, 1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc = 54-60-63 ch-spaces on round.
Work as round 2 until piece measures 36-38-40 cm / 14 1/4"-15"-15 3/4".
ROUND 8: Work * ch 3, 1 dc in next ch-space *, repeat from *-* the entire round AT THE SAME TIME inc 10-8-7 ch-spaces by working (3 ch, 1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) in every 5th-7th-9th ch-space 6-4-3 times and every 6th-8th-9th ch-space 4-4-4 times = 64-68-70 ch-spaces on round.
Work as round 2 until piece measures 51-53-55 cm / 20"-21"-21½".

FLOWER EDGE:
Then work an edge as follows - see diagram A.1: ch 1, * 10 ch, 1 sl st in 4th ch from hook, ch 4, 1 sl st in same ch, ch 3, 1 sl st in same ch, ch 7, skip 2 ch-spaces from previous round, 1 sc in next dc, 14 ch, 1 sl st in 6th ch from hook (= ch-ring), turn, ** ch 3, 2 dc in ch-ring, ch 3, 1 sl st in ch-ring (= 1 flower leaf) **, repeat from **-** 2 more times = 3 flower leaves, 9 ch, skip 2 ch-spaces from previous round, 1 sc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round. Finish with 1 sl st in 1st ch on round. Fasten off.
