GARTER ST (back and forth on needle):
K all rows. 1 ridge = K2 rows.
----------------------------------------------------------

SHAWL:
Worked back and forth on circular needle to make room for all the sts. Cast on 3 sts on circular needle size 9 mm / US 13 with Verdi and K 1 row.
Then work in GARTER ST - see explanation above, as follows:
ROW 1: K 1, 1 loose YO, K all sts.
ROW 2: K all sts and YO.
Then repeat 1st and 2nd row until there are approx. 130 sts on needle.
Then bind off as follows to make an elastic edge: * bind off 2 sts, make a YO and loosely bind off YO *, repeat from *-* the entire row. Fasten off.
