BIND-OFF TIP:
Bind off with Puddel as follows: * Bind off 3 sts, YO and bind off YO *, repeat from *-* until all sts have been bound off.

STRIPES:
* 12 rounds Puddel, 3 rounds Lima *, repeat from *-*
----------------------------------------------------------

CIRCLE:
Work in STRIPES - see explanation above.
Work in the round on double pointed needles and switch to circular needle when there are enough sts. Cast on 4 sts on double pointed needles size 8 mm / US 11 with Puddel.
Work as follows: K 1, 1 YO, K 1, 1 YO, K 1, 1 YO, K 1 and 1 YO = 8 sts.
On next round work YOs twisted and work in stockinette st over all sts (work all YOs in piece twisted). Then work next round as follows: * K 1, 1 YO *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 16 sts.
Insert 1 marker in each of the 16 sts. Continue in stockinette st while AT THE SAME TIME on 1st round, beg to inc 1 st after every marker by making 1 YO. Repeat inc every 4 rounds (= 16 new sts per inc) - REMEMBER STRIPES.
When piece measures approx. 19-20-21-22-23-24 cm / 7½''-8''-8¼''-8¾''-9''-9½'' from centre of piece, there are approx. 96-112-112-112-128-128 sts on needle. Adjust so to work in Puddel now. Now make armholes on next round as follows: Bind off 16-17-18-19-19-21 sts with Puddel - see BIND-OFF TIP - (= first armhole), work 25-29-31-33-33-37 sts (= sts in neck), bind off 16-17-18-19-19-21 sts (= next armhole), work the remaining sts (= bottom of back = approx. 39-49-45-41-57-49 sts).
On next round cast on same no of sts that were bound off over bound-off sts (= 16-17-18-19-19-21 sts) - continue in the round with inc - REMEMBER STRIPES - until piece measures approx. 50-51-52-53-54-55 cm / 19¾''-20''-20½''-21''-21¼''-21 5/8'' from the middle = approx. 240-256-256-256-272-272 sts on round.
On next round bind off - REMEMBER BIND-OFF TIP - the middle 33-37-37-39-43-43 sts at the top in the neck and the middle 57-65-65-59-63-63 sts at the bottom of the back – finish each side separately.

FRONT PIECE:
Piece is now worked in Puddel from here.
= 75-77-77-79-83-83 sts. Now continue back and forth over sts on needle in stockinette st and inc with YOs as before for approx. 10-13-16-19-22-25 cm / 4"-5"-6 1/4"-7½"-8 3/4"-9 3/4" - AT THE SAME TIME bind off - REMEMBER BIND-OFF TIP - 3-3-2-2-2-2 sts at beg of every row 6-8-9-11-13-15 times in total in each side.
After last bind off, bind off the remaining sts - REMEMBER BIND-OFF TIP.
