CROCHET INFO:
1 dc-group = 3 dc worked in the same place as on previous round.

STRIPES:
See diagram A.1 – 1 row in diagram = 1 round with dc-groups.
----------------------------------------------------------

COVER:
First work a large granny square at the top of pouf, then work in the round down the sides.

GRANNY SQUARE:
Work with 2 strands on hook size 10 mm / N/15. See diagram A.1 for colors on the different rounds.
Ch 5 with 1 strand off white and 1 strand pearl gray and form a ring with 1 sl st in 1st ch.
ROUND 1:
ch 3 (= 1 dc), 2 dc in ch-ring, ch 3, * 3 dc in ch-ring, ch 3 *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round, turn piece.
ROUND 2:
ch 3 (= 1 dc), 2 dc in first ch-space, ch 3 (= corner), 3 dc in same ch-space, * 3 dc in next ch-space, ch 3 (= corner), 3 dc in same ch-space *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round, turn piece.
ROUND 3:
ch 3 (= 1 dc), 2 dc in the middle of the first 2 dc-groups on previous round, * 3 dc in ch-space in the corner, ch 3, 3 dc in same ch-space, 3 dc in the middle of the next 2 dc-groups on previous round *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times, 3 dc in ch-space in the corner, ch 3, 3 dc in same ch-space, finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round, turn piece.
ROUND 4:
ch 3 , 2 dc in the middle of the first 2 dc-groups on previous round, * 3 dc in ch-space in the corner, ch 3, 3 dc in same ch-space, 3 dc in the middle of the next 2 dc-groups on previous round, 3 dc in the middle of the next 2 dc-groups on previous round *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times, 3 dc in ch-space in the corner, ch 3, 3 dc in same ch-space, 3 dc in the middle of the next 2 dc-groups on previous round, finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round, turn piece.
Continue working like this (i.e. there is 1 dc-group more between every corner on every round) until a total of 8 rounds have been worked = 32 dc-groups on the round.
Square now measures approx. 36-38 cm / 14 1/4"-15" along each side.

SIDES:
Continue working dc-groups and stripes according to A.1, turn piece after every round to work alternately from RS and WS.
Work 3 dc between every dc-group from previous round the entire way - do not inc in the corners any more - on 1st round after square, work only 1 dc-group in ch-space in every corner.
When A.1 has been worked, piece measures approx. 40 cm / 15 3/4'' from the square and down the sides, fasten off.
