SOCK:
Worked in the round. Cast on 51-58-65 sts on double pointed needles size 3 mm with Karisma. K 1 round and continue as follows: rib K2/P3 on the first 25-30-35 sts, K2, P2-3-4, M.1 A (= 20 sts), P2-3-4. When piece measures 5 cm work M.1 B over M.1A with remaining sts as before.
Continue like this until piece measures 21-22-23 cm. Now dec 1 st in the first 5-6-7 P-sections by P tog the first 2 sts (NOTE! do not dec in P-sections each side of M.1B) = 46-52-58 sts. Now continue in rib and M.1B. When piece measures 23-24-25 cm keep the first 22-26-30 sts on needle for heel, and slip the remaining 24-26-28 sts on a stitch holder = mid upper foot. Now work heel back and forth in stocking st on the 22-26-30 heel sts for approx 5-5.5-6 cm. Insert a marker. Dec for HEEL - see HEEL DECREASES!
After heel dec pick up 11-13-15 sts each side of heel and slip sts from stitch holder back on needle = 56-64-72 sts. Insert a marker each side of the 24-26-28 sts mid upper foot. Continue in M.1 + P2-3-4 each side of upper foot and stocking st under foot. AT THE SAME TIME dec each side as follows: K tog into back of loop the 2 sts before first marker and K tog the 2 sts after second marker on every other round a total of 7 times = 42-50-58 sts. Continue until piece measures approx 18-19-21 cm (= approx 4-5-6 cm remain) from marker on heel. Insert a marker each side of foot, i.e. 21-25-29 sts over and under foot. Continue in stocking st on all sts. AT THE SAME TIME dec for toes each side of both markers as follows: K tog the 2 sts before marker and K tog into back of loop the 2 sts after marker. Repeat the dec on every other round a total of 4-6-7 times and then on every round a total of 5-4-5 times = 6-10-10 sts. Cut the thread and pull it through remaining sts, tighten tog and fasten.
