Very confused. I’m starting with Round 11. I have 17 tr in my leaf at the end of round 10. However I am supposed to Slip stitch the chain 3 which is my first tr for the round and then continue with the next 15 tr before I chain 4 and so on. After the the slip stitch I have 16 tr left and not 15. What am I doing wrong. Even if I skip the first tr in the next leaf I still have 16 tr. What am I doing wrong?

Dear Meena, replace the first tr on the round with 3 chains as before, that way you will have 3 chains (= 1st tr) + 1 treble in each of the next 14 tr = 15 tr for each tr group. Happy crocheting!

I loved to make the tree skirt, but I am also unable to find the converstion/other pattern for this.

Dear Mrs Newsom, not sure what you mean with conversion, there is only a written pattern to this Christmas rug. You can find other rug patterns here. Happy crocheting!

Nevermind ! I just realized that I was reading the UK directions rather than the US, so now I understand the picot directions. The pattern has turned out beautifully ! Made this one for my daughter but now I want one for myself - thank you again for the lovely pattern and hope to see this in the future as a Christmas tree skirt with a slit or larger hole in the center.

I am on the last row doing the pivot but it does not look like the picture of the pattern. In each chain space I have 3 dc, then 3 more dc in the 3 children, then 3 more dc. So that gives three groups of 3 dc in each chain space. Is that correct ?

I am wondering if this pattern was ever converted to a tree skirt pattern ? If not, I will make this one and set the tree on top of it. Thank you, as always, for the lovely patterns.

Hej.
