NOTE: This pattern is written in British English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from cm to inches - click here. There are different terms for crocheting in British and American English. If this pattern includes crochet, click for "crochet terms" here. For this pattern in American English, please click here.
Chrochet tension: 12 dc in width = 10 cm
Crochet info: In beg of each round substitute first dc with 1 ch. Finish each round with 1 sl st in first ch in beg of round.

Hat: Check your crochet tension! The hat i crocheted from top and down.
1st row: Crochet 2 ch using hook size 5 mm and Eskimo, crochet 7 dc in the 1:a ch from hook, finish with 1 sl st in the 1st dc = 7 dc.
Read crochet info!
2nd row: Crochet 2 dc in every dc = 14 dc.
3rd row: Crochet * 1 dc in first dc, 2 dc in following dc *, repeat *-* = 21 dc.
4th row: Crochet * 1 dc in each of the first 2 dc, 2 dc in following dc *, repeat *-* = 28 dc.
5th row: Crochet * 1 dc in each of the first 3 dc, 2 dc in following dc *, repeat *-* = 35 dc.
Continue to inc like this (i.e. 1 dc more between every inc) until you have 63-70 dc on round (= 9-10 rounds).
Continue to crochet 1 dc in every dc until piece measures 12-13 cm – on last round inc 1-0 dc = 64-70 dc.
Now continue like this:
2 dc in first dc, * skip 1 dc, 2 dc in following dc *, repeat *-*. Repeat this round until piece measures 17-18 cm. Then crochet 1 round like this: *1 dc in first dc, 2 dc in following dc *, repeat *-* = 96-105 dc. Crochet 1 dc in every dc until piece measures 25-26 cm. Cut and fasten the thread.
