100 g for both sizes colour no 33, orange mix

Knitting tension: 9 sts x 12 rows moss sts = 10 x 10 cm
Moss stitch: 1st row: * K1, P1 *, repeat from *-*. 2nd row: K over P and P over K. Repeat 2nd row.

Scarf: Cast on 24 sts on needle size 10 mm with Eskimo. Remember knitting tension! Knit moss stitch - see explanation above – until piece measures approx 155 cm or desired length. Cast off in moss stitch.

HAT
Head measurement: 54/56 - 56/58 cm
Materials: DROPS Eskimo
100 g for both sizes colour no 33, orange mix

DROPS needles size 8 mm – or the needle size needed to obtain correct knitting tension.
Knitting tension: 11 sts x 15 rows stocking sts with 1 thread = 10 x 10 cm.
Rib: * K1, P2 *, repeat from *-*.
Garter st: Knit all rows back and forth on needle
Moss stitch: 1st row: * K1, P1 *, repeat from *-*. 2nd row: K over P and P over K. Repeat 2nd row.

Hat: Knit piece back and forth.
Cast on 56-59 sts (incl 1 edge sts on each side) on needle size 8 mm with Eskimo. Knit 4 rows garter sts – see explanation above. Continue in Rib - see explanation above – with 1 edge sts on each side until piece measures 6 cm. Remember knitting tension! Now knit 2 cm stocking sts, 4 rows garter sts, 2 cm stocking sts. Then knit 2 rows garter sts at the same time as dec 8-9 sts evenly on 1st row = 48-50 sts. Continue in moss sts – see explanation above – until piece measures approx 19-21 cm. Knit 1 row garter st from RS. Then complete hat in garter sts at the same time dec 10 sts evenly on every other row 4 times in total = 8-10 sts. Pull thread through remaining 8-10 sts and sew hat tog mid back within 1 edge sts. Hat measures approx 24-26 cm.
