CROCHET INFO:
Replace first dc at beg of every round with 3 ch. Finish every round with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round.
Finish every sc round with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round.

HAT:
Chain 3 on hook size 7 mm/K or L with Christmas red and form a ring with 1 sl st in 1st ch. READ CROCHET INFO.
ROUND 1: Work 4 dc in ch-ring.
ROUND 2: Work 2 dc in every dc = 8 dc.
ROUND 3: * 1 dc in first dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 12 dc.
ROUND 4: * 1 dc in first dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 18 dc.
ROUND 5: * 1 dc in each of the first 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 24 dc.
ROUND 6: * 1 dc in each of the first 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 30 dc.
ROUND 7: * 1 dc in each of the first 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 40 dc.
NOTE: The inc for size 3/5 years ends here.
ROUND 8: Size 6/9 years: * 1 dc in each of the first 9 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 44 dc.
Size 10/14 years: * 1 dc in each of the first 4 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 48 dc.
All sizes: Now work 1 dc in every dc until hat measures approx. 23-25-27 cm / 9"-9 3/4"-10½" to the top.
Cut the yarn and pull it through last st and fasten tightly.

MOUTH:
Work sc or sl sts with some left-over blue yarn along the next to last round worked, can also be embroidered on with chain stitches. Fasten off.

EYES:
Eyes consist of white and black circles sewn tog.
White circle: Chain 3 with off-white and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: Work 4 sc in ch-ring.
ROUND 2: Work 2 sc in every sc the entire round = 8 sc.
ROUND 3: Work * 1 sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 12 sc.
ROUND 4: Work * 1 sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 18 sc.
Cut the yarn and pull it through the last st.
Work another eye the same way.
Black circle: Chain 3 with black and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: Work 4 sc in ch-ring.
ROUND 2: Work 2 sc in every sc the entire round = 8 sc.
Cut the yarn and pull it through the last st.
Make another pupil the same way and then sew a black circle on each white circle and then sew the eyes on to mid front on hat.

EYELASHES:
Cut 10 strands with a length of approx. 3 cm / 1½'' with black Karisma. Insert a hook in and out at the top of each eye. Pull yarn through to the middle to make a loop. Pull yarn ends through loop and tighten.

HORN:
Chain 3 with yellow and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: Work 4 sc in ch-ring.
ROUND 2: Work * 1 sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc *, repeat from *-* 1 more time = 6 sc.
ROUND 3-5: Work 1 sc in every sc the entire round.
Cut the yarn and pull it through the last st.
Work another horn the same way.
Fill them with some poly stuffing and fasten at the top of hat.
