CROCHET INFO:
Replace first sc at beg of every round with 1 ch and finish every round with 1 sl st in ch from beg of round. Replace first dc at beg of every round with 3 ch and finish every round with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round.
CROCHET TIP:
The cover has been made for a cake lid that is 18 cm / 7'' in diameter and approx. 7 cm / 2¾'' in height. If you have a larger or smaller lid, you can stop on one of the dc rounds, or continue inc at the top with 1 dc/sc more between every inc. Make sure no of sts is divisible by 3.
BERRY: All berries are worked with pink.
Work 1 dc but wait with last pull through = 2 sts on hook. Work 1 dc more in same st but wait with last pull through = 3 sts on hook. Do this 4 times in total = 5 sts on hook. Work 1 dc more in same st but on last pull through, pull yarn through all sts on hook. 1 berry = 1 dc on next round.
LOOPS: All loops are worked as follows in the same color as previous round.
* ch 3, skip 1 st and work 1 sc in next st *, repeat the entire round and finish with 1 sl st in first ch on round.

ROUND 1: * ch 4, work 2 dc in first ch, skip 2 sts and work 1 sc in next st *, repeat around the entire cake and finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 66 loops.
ROUND 2: ch 1 and fold previous round towards you, * work ch 5, work 2 tr in first ch, 1 sc in next sc from previous round *, repeat around the entire cake and finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 66 loops.

COVER FOR CAKE LID:
The cover is worked in the round from the top and down along the side.
