Crochet gauge: 21 sc for the width = 10 cm / 4''.

Crochet 2 dc tog. to 1 dc as follows: Crochet 1 dc but wait with the last pull through (= 2 sts on hook), now crochet the next dc, but when making the last pull through, pull through all sts on hook.

Lace edge: When making the lace edge, do not crochet through the whole st but only the most outer part of the sc. Crochet as follows: *2 ch, 1 sc*, repeat from *-*. The round after the lace edge is crochet in the same round but this time crochet in the back part of the sc.

Colors for Peter:
Legs: 5 rounds of brown, 2 rounds of off-white, 1 off-white lace edge, 15 rounds of flesh color.
Arms: 7 rounds of flesh color, 1 round of off-white, 1 off- white lace edge, *2 rounds of off-white, 1 round of blue*, repeat from *-* until finished measurements.
Trouser legs + trousers: Blue. Jumper: *1 round of blue, 2 rounds of off-white*, repeat from *-*.

Colors for Pernille:
Legs: 5 rounds of brown, 1 rounds of off-white, 1 off- white lace edge, 11 rounds of flesh color, 1 off-white lace edge and hereafter off- white until finished measurements.
Arms: Flesh color.
Trouser legs: Off-white.
Dress: 1 strand of rose and 1 strand of Glitter.

THE DOLL PETER:

See explanation of colors above.
Crochet 2 legs, 2 arms and 2 trouser legs.

Leg: Ch 4 and make a ring with a sl st.
1st round: Crochet 6 sc around the ring, finish with a sl st in the first sc.
2nd round: ch 1, *1 sc, 2 sc in the next st*. Repeat from *-* (= 9 sc). Finish with a sl st in the first ch.
3rd-21st round: ch 1, 9 sc, finish with a sl st in the first ch (remember the lace edge according the above explanation).
22nd round: ch 1, 4 sc, 2 sc in the next sc, 3 sc, 2 sc in the next sc (=11 sc). Finish with a sl st in the first sc.
23rd round: ch 1, crochet 2 sc in each sc = 22 sc. Fasten off. Fill with stuffing.

Arm: Crochet round 1-21 as for the leg, on the next round dec 1 sc as follows: skip a sc (= 8 sc on round). Fasten off. Fill with stuffing.

Trouser leg: Ch 22 and make a ring with a sl st in first ch.
1st round: Crochet 1 sc in each ch, finish with a sl st in the first sc.
2nd-4th round: ch 3, 1 dc in each sc. Finish with a sl st in the first ch.
On one of the legs fasten off.
On the other leg cut the yarn but don’t sew it as it needs to be used to crochet the legs tog.

Trousers: Put a leg in each trouser leg. Ch 3 with the yarn from one of the trouser legs.
1st round: Continue to crochet the legs so they become attach to the trousers as follows: Crochet through both the trousers and the leg.
Crochet 1 round of dc around the first leg and then around the second leg.
2nd round: ch 3, 1 round of dc at the same time dec. every 4th dc as follows: crochet the 3rd and the 4th dc tog. – see explanation above = 33 dc. Finish with a sl st at the beginning of round.
3rd round: ch 3, 1 round of dc at the same time dec. every 3rd dc as follows: crochet the 2nd and the 3rd dc tog. – see explanation above = 22 dc. Finish with a sl st at the beginning of round.

Jumper: The round starts mid back.
1st-10th round: ch 1, 1 sc in each st, finish with a sl st in the first ch.
11th round: ch 1, 1 sc, skip a sc, 1 sc in each of the next 6 sc, skip 1 sc, 1 sc in the next st, skip 1 sc, 1 sc in the next st, skip a sc, 1 sc in the following 6 sc, skip a sc, 1 sc in the next st, skip a sc and attach with a sl st in the beginning of round = 16 sc.
12th round: Now crochet the arms to the body as follows: ch 1, 2 sc, put the arms double at the top of the jumper, crochet 4 sc through both the arms and the jumper. Then crochet 4 sc(=the front) and attach the other arm the same way, crochet 2 sc, and finish with a sl st in the first ch.
13th round: Crochet a lace edge in off-white.

Head: Change to flesh color.
1st and 2nd round: ch 1, 16 sc around, finish with a sl st in the first ch.
3rd round: ch 1, *1 sc, 2 sc in the next sc*, repeat from *-* until end of round = 24 sc, finish with a sl st in the first ch.
4th-7th round: ch 1, 1 sc in each st until end of round and finish with a sl st in the first ch.
8th round: ch 1, 5 sc, in the next st crochet an ear as follows: 3 dc which are crochet tog. in the last pull through ( this means: wait with the last pull through in each dc until all 3 dc are crochet, yrh and pull through all sts). 11 sc, crochet another ear in the next sc, crochet sc until end of round, and finish with a sl st in the first ch.
9th -13th round: Crochet as round 4-7.

Assembly: Fill the body and the head with poly stuffing. Sew the opening between the legs, embroider eyes and mouth.
Lay the head flat, face up and crochet tog. at the top with sc’s through both layers with flesh color.

Short hair: 1 sc, *5 ch, crochet backwards over the ch’s as follows: Skip ch 1, crochet 3 sc in each of the next ch 4, crochet 1-2 sc backwards on the head (depending on how much hair the doll should have)*, repeat from *-* until end of row, fasten off.

THE DOLL PERNILLE:

See explanation above.
The dolls legs, arms, jumper and head are the same as for Peters.

Trouser legs: after the 23rd round crochet 1 round of dc in off-white around one leg and then around the other leg.

Skirt: Ch 44 and make a ring with a sl st in 1st ch.
1st round: Crochet 1 sc in each st, finish with a sl st in the first sc.
2nd round: ch 3, 1 dc in each sc, finish with a sl st.
3rd round: Put both legs inside the skirt.
Ch 3, then 1 round of dc - pull the hook through both legs and skirt- at the same time dec. every 4th st as follows: crochet the 3rd and 4th st together – see above explanation = 33 dc. Finish round with a sl st.
4th round: ch 3, crochet 1 round of dc - at the same dec, every 3rd st as follows: crochet the 3rd and 4th st together = 22 dc. Finish round with a sl st. Continue as described under the jumper.

Long hair: Crochet as done for Peters hair, but every hair straw = 13 ch instead of 5 ch.

Accessories: Poly stuffing for filling.

Crochet info: Replace the first sc at beginning of each round with a ch, and finish each round with a sl st in the first sc on round.

Crochet sc’s tog. as follows: 2 sc’s are crochet tog. as follows: push the hook into the first st, get the yarn and push the hook through the next st, get the yarn, yo and pull the yarn through all 3 sts on hook.

Head and body:
Read Crochet info! Ch 4 and make a ring with a sl st in 1st ch.
1st round: Crochet 6 sc around the ring
2nd round: 2 sc in each sc = 12 sc.
3rd round: 1 sc in each sc = 12 sc.
4th round: *1 sc in the first sc, 2 sc in the next sc*, repeat from *-* until finish round = 18 sc.

Fill with poly stuffing

Sew the yarn up and down through the 4 sc’s, pull tog. and sew.

Leg: Ch 3 and make a ring with a sl st in 1st ch.
Crochet 8 sc around the ring. Continue to crochet 2 sc in each sc = 16 sc.
Crochet the next round as follows: 1 sc in the first st, *crochet the next 2 sc tog., 1 sc in the next st*, repeat from *-* until finish round = 11 sc.
Crochet 4 rounds with a sc in each st.
Sew the yarn up and down through 11 sc’s and pull together.
Don’t cut the yarn but pull it up through the leg. Later it will be used to sew the leg to the body. Crochet another leg, fill with poly stuffing and sew them to the body.

Arm: Ch 3 and make a ring with a sl st in 1st ch. Crochet 6 sc around the ring.
Continue to crochet 2 sc in each sc = 12 sc.
Crochet the next round as follows: 1 sc in the first st, *crochet the next 2 sc tog., 1 sc in the next st*, repeat from *-* until finish round = 8 sc.
Crochet 13 rounds with a sc in each st.
Sew the yarn up and down through the 8 sc’s and pull together.
Don’t cut the yarn but pull it up through the arm. Later it will be used to sew the arm to the body. Fill the arm with poly stuffing, tighten the yarn slightly so the arm gets a little bend. Crochet another arm and sew them to the body approx 1 to 2 rounds below the neck.

Ears: Crochet 1 ear each side of the head as follows: 1 sc in a st, ch 5, 1 hdc in the 3rd ch from hook, 1 dc in the next ch, skip approx 2 rounds and attach the ear to the head with a sc. Fasten off and then repeat for the other side of the head.

Eyes, nose and mouth: Sew with light brown and give the Teddy a personal touch.

Heart: Ch 2.
1st row: 1 sc in the first ch, turn the piece.
2nd row: ch 1, 3 sc in the sc from previous row, turn the piece.
3rd row: ch 1, 2 sc in the first sc, 1 sc in the next sc, 2 sc in the next sc, turn the piece = 5 sc.
4th row: ch 1, 1 sc in each of the first 2 sc, 2 sc in the next sc, 1 sc in each of the last 2 sc, turn the piece = 6 sc.
5th row: ch 1, 1 sc in each of the first 3 sc, turn the piece.
6th row: ch 1, crochet the 3 sc’s tog to 1 sc, cut the yarn.
Now crochet a sc in each of the remaining st of the heart, turn the piece.
Ch 1 and crochet the next 3 sc tog. to 1 sc.
Fasten off. Sew the heart on to the teddy.

Accessories: Poly stuffing for filling.

Crochet info: Replace the 1st dc on each row with 3 ch.

THE TROUSERS MAN:

Leg: Ch 5 with hook size 4 mm / G/6. Turn the piece and crochet 6 rows with a dc in each st – read crochet info! Put the piece aside and make another one the same.

Body: Put the two legs together and crochet 2 rows with dc over the 10 dc
3rd row: Crochet a dc in each dc but crochet 2 dc in the first and last dc on row = 12 dc.
4th-7th row: Crochet a dc in each dc
8th row: Crochet a dc in each dc but crochet 2 dc in the first and last dc on row = 14 dc.
9th row: Crochet a dc in each dc
10th row: Crochet a dc in each dc but crochet 2 dc in the first and last dc on row = 16 dc.
Repeat row 9 and 10 a total of 20 crochet rows. Crochet a similar piece from the top and down. Sew on the eyes before the 2 pieces are sewn together.
Note! Remember to fill with poly stuffing before finish sewing it together.

Eyes: Ch 3 and make a ring with a sl st in the first ch.
Crochet 6 sc in the ring. On 1 eye crochet 1 more round in another color with 2 sc in each st . Sew the eyes on to the body approx at row 17th.

COCK’S COMB:

Body: Begin at the top and crochet downwards. Ch 10 with hook size 4mm/G and Paris.
Turn the piece and crochet 7 rows with a dc in each st –read crochet info.
Put the piece aside. Ch 5 and crochet 4 rows with a dc in each st.
Put the 2 pieces together = 15 dc.
Crochet 9 rows of dc over the 15 dc.
Crochet another piece but laterally reversed.
Put the 2 pieces together and sew all around.
Remember to fill with poly stuffing before finish sewing.
Crochet 1 row with dc at the top of the head.

Eyes: Ch 3 and make a ring with a sl st in the first ch. Crochet 6 sc in the ring. Sew the eyes on to the body approx at row 13th.

Mouth: Ch 6, turn the piece and crochet 1 sc in each ch. Sew it on to the body below the eyes as a mouth.

28th round: *3 sc, crochet the 4th and the 5th sc tog. to 1 sc* repeat from *-* finish with a sl st in the 1st sc, 1 ch = 24 sc.
29th round: *2 sc, crochet the 3rd and the 4rd sc tog. to 1 sc* repeat from *-* finish with a sl st in the 1st sc, 1 ch = 18 sc.
Now fill the ball with poly stuffing.
30th round: *1 sc, crochet the 2nd and the 3rd sc tog. to 1 sc* repeat from *-* finish with a sl st in the 1st sc, 1 ch = 12 sc.
31th round: Crochet all sc tog. 2 and 2.
Cut the yarn and sew the hole together.

MIDDLE BALL:
1st – 8th round crochet as big ball, hereafter round 10-14 and then round 26-31.

SMALL BALL:
1st – 6th round crochet as big ball, hereafter round 10-18 and then round 28-31.

FEET:
1st row: Ch 5, turn, skip the 1st ch and crochet 4 sc back, ch 2, turn.
2nd row: 2 sc in each sc, ch 2, turn.
3rd row: Crochet 1 row of sc, ch 2, turn.
4th row: 1 sc, ch 4, 3 dc in the first ch, skip a sc, 1 sc in the next sc, ch 4, 3 dc in the first ch, skip 2 sc, 1 sc in the next sc, ch 4, 3 dc in the first ch, skip 1 sc, 1 sc in the last sc.

EYES/ARMS:
1st round: Ch 3 and make a ring with a sl st in the first ch.
2nd round: Crochet 6 sc around the ring , finish with a sl st in the 1st sc, 1 ch.
3rd round: 2 sc in each sc = 12 sc, finish with a sl st in the 1st sc, 1 ch.
4th - 7th round: Crochet sc all around, finish with a sl st in the 1st sc, fasten off.

KNOB:
1st round: Ch 3 and make a ring with a sl st in the first ch.
2nd round: Crochet 6 sc around the ring, finish with a sl st in the 1st sc.

SPIRAL:
1st row: Ch 12, turn.
2nd row: Crochet 3 sc in each ch, cut the yarn.

OCTOPUS:
Crochet the octopus with Safran, making the body 1 color and each of the 6 legs different colors.

Body: Crochet 1 big ball
Eyes: Crochet 4 eyes, but crochet only 5 rounds. Sew the eyes to the body evenly distributed at the middle of the ball.
Arms: Crochet 6 arms, but repeat the 7th round until crochet a total of 18th rounds. Sew the arms on to the ball evenly distributed on the 9th round of the ball.
Nose: Crochet 4 knobs and sew them on to the ball in between the eyes on the 13th round.
Spiral: Crochet 1 spiral and sew it on the top of the octopus.

SUN:
Crochet the sun with Safran, making the body 1 color and the sunbeams (spirals) in 3 different colors, mouth and eyes.

Body: Crochet 1 middle size ball.
Eyes: Crochet 2 knobs and sew them on to the ball as eyes.
Mouth: Ch 10, turn and crochet sc back, sew on to the ball below the eyes.
Spiral: Crochet 9 spirals and sew them on the ball as sunbeams.

TURTLE:
Crochet the turtle with Muskat, making the shell with stripes, 1 spiral for the tale and feet and head the same color.

Shell: Crochet the shell as a big ball from round 1 to 9. Crochet 2 more rounds, at the same time continue the increases as before = 11 rounds (Crochet 2 pieces = 1 bottom and 1 top shell)
Legs: Crochet 4 legs, using the eyes/arm explanation round 1-7. Fill with poly stuffing and crochet the opening tog.
Head: Crochet a big ball round 1 – 3 = 12 sc. Crochet 10 rounds, (1 sc in each sc = 13 rounds in total). Fill with poly stuffing and crochet the opening tog.
Eyes: Crochet as knob, but in addition crochet 1 round of 1 sc in each sc, so a total of 3 rounds.
Tale: Crochet 1 spiral.
Assembly: Put the feet, head and tale in between the bottom and top shell. Crochet around the shell with sc, push the hook through all layers so all parts are crochet tog. Note: Fill the shell with poly stuffing before it is crochet totally together.

FROG:
Crochet the frog with Safran, one color for the body and rose for the mouth.

Feet: Crochet 4 feet.
Eyes: Crochet 2 eyes.
Pupils: Crochet 2 knobs and sew them to the eyes as pupils.
Body: Ch 5, turn, skip the first ch and crochet 4 sc. *2 ch, turn, crochet 1 sc in each sc, but crochet 2 sc in the first and last sc*, repeat from *-* until there are 14 sc.
Crocket 28 rows (= top side).
Change color (e.g. to rose for inside the mouth) – crochet 15 rows.
Change color – crochet 28 rows.
Now dec. as follows: At each side crochet the 2 outermost sc tog. (see explanation above) on each row until 4 sc left ( = the bottom side).
Sew tight and cut the yarn.
Fold so 1 half of the mouth lay against the bottom side and the other half against the top side. Crochet 2 rows of sc around the frog – through both layers (Do not crochet at the front of the frog). At the same time, in the last round crochet the feet to each side of the body. Note: fill with poly stuffing before “closing” the body totally. Sew the eyes at the top of the frog.

FISH:
Crochet the fish with Safran, one color for the body, red for the mouth and multi colors for the fins.

Body: Crochet 1 big ball, but crochet 2 rounds of sc’s in between each round (this means - crochet 1st and 2nd round as described for big ball, continue to crochet 2 rounds of sc, 3rd round according to pattern for big ball, 2 round of sc, continue until finished 9th round according to pattern for big ball = 23 rounds in total = 48 sc.
Continue to crochet 5 rounds of sc = 28 rounds.
Split the piece into two parts = 24 sc and crochet 12 rows forth and back, change color and crochet another 12 rows (=inside the mouth).
Repeat for the other 24 sc.
Fold so 1 half of the mouth lay against the bottom side and the other half against the top side. Crochet 2 rows of sc around the mouth – through both layers (Do not crochet at the front of the fish).
Eyes: Crochet 2 eyes (but only crochet 5 rounds). Sew the eyes to the top of the fish.
Fins: Crochet 7 spirals. Sew 2 each side as fins and 3 at the back as tales.

DUCK:
Crochet the duck with Safran, one color for the body, stripes for the dress and the feet, beak and cock’s comb in orange.

Body: Crochet as middle size ball from round 1 – 13, hereafter crochet sc in each sc for another 8 rounds = 42 sc. Put the piece aside.

Dress: Ch 68 and make a ring with a sl st in 1st ch.
Crochet 4 rounds with sc in each ch, then crochet 1 round, at the same time dec 6 sc evenly distributed on round (this means crochet approx each 10th and 11th sc tog. – see explanation above.
*Crochet 1 round of 1 sc in each sc, then a round while dec 5 sc evenly distributed on round*, repeat from *-* a total of 4 times = 13 rounds in total and 42 sc on round.
Put the body inside the dress and crochet the 2 parts tog with sc in the color of the dress. Crochet 1 round of sc in each sc.
Continue to crochet the last 6 rounds of the middle size ball.

Head: Crochet the head as a small ball until 12 sc left. Now crochet 7 rounds of sc for the beak. Fill the beak and the head with poly stuffing. Crochet the beak tog. at the front. Sew the head to the body.

Cock’s comb and feet: Crochet 3 feet and sew 2 of them underneath the biggest ball and 1 at the top of the head for cock’s comb.

Eyes: Crochet 4 eyes according to the knob description, but crochet in addition 1 round with 1 sc in each sc = a total of 3 rounds.

BALL AND RATTLE:

Crochet the 2 toys in Muskat, 1 ball and 1 rattle.

Small ball: Crochet as small ball with stripes. Fill with poly stuffing and perhaps add a bell, before sewing the ball together. Crochet 5 cm / 2'' of ch and sew them to the ball so it can hang down.

Rattle: Crochet as a small ball until 12 sc left. Fill with poly stuffing and perhaps add a bell. Continue to crochet 8 rounds of 1 sc in each sc, then crochet 1 round skipping every other sc. Cut the yarn. Fill the handle with poly stuffing before sewing the opening together.
