GARTER ST (back and forth on needle): K all rows.

BIB:
Worked back and forth on needle.
Cast on 32-36-40 sts on needle size 4.5 mm [US 7] with Paris. Work 4 rows garter st – SEE ABOVE - and continue in stockinette st with 4 garter sts each side.
REMEMBER THE KNITTING GAUGE!
When piece measures 13-15-17 cm [5”-6”-6¾”] work 4 rows garter st on the middle 16-18-20 sts, work remaining sts as before. Now bind off the middle 12-14-16 sts for neckline = 10-11-12 sts left each side.
Slip sts on the right side of piece (as seen from RS) on a stitch holder.

LEFT SIDE: = 10-11-12 sts. Continue in stockinette st with 2 garter sts towards neckline and 4 garter sts at the side. When piece measures approx 20-22-24 cm [8”-8¾”-9½”] – adjust so that next row is from WS – K 1 row from WS and cast on 36-40-44 new sts at the end of this row towards neckline (= tie string). Bind off all sts on next row.

RIGHT SIDE: Slip sts on stitch holder back on needle and work like left side until piece measures approx 20-22-24 cm [8”-8¾”-9½”] – adjust so that next row is from WS. K 1 row from WS, K 1 row from RS and cast on 36-40-44 new sts at the end of this row towards neckline (= tie string). Bind off all sts on next row.
