We are now sending the new fall/winter catalogs to our DROPS dealers. They are printed in a limited edition and and each catalog costs only 1£/$2 over the counter and 2£/$4 by mail order. DROPS fall/winter 09/10 collection is very varied. From fine to heavy, garments with texture and patterned. Jackets, sweaters, ponchos, shawls and lots of accessories. The designs are chosen on the basis of an overall assessment, where voting results and accompanying comments have been important.

There are different terms for crocheting in British and American English.

Crochet tension: 20 dc/tr in width crochet with hook size 3.5 mm and Safran = 10 cm
Crochet tips: First tr on round with tr is substituted by 3 ch and first dc on round with dc is substituted by 1 ch. Complete each round with 1 sl st in first sts of round.

Hat: Crochet 5 ch on crochet hook size 3.5 mm and create 1 ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
1st round: Crochet 8 dc around ring – read Crochet tips.
2nd round: Crochet 2 tr in each dc = 16 tr.
3rd round: *1 dc in first tr, 2 dc in next tr* repeat from *-* = 24 dc.
4th round: *1 tr in each of 2 first dc, 2 tr in in next dc* repeat from *-* = 32 tr.
5th round: *1 dc in each of 3 first tr, 2 dc in next tr* repeat from *-* = 40 dc.
Continue crocheting in the same way on every other round tr and dc, at the same time inc so there is 1 sts more between each time inc is done on each round until there is 96 tr on round (= 12 rounds in total). Piece measures approx 10 cm from middle. Now crochet 1 round dc at the same time inc 2 dc evenly = 98 dc. Then crochet 1 round tr and 1 round dc. Piece measures approx 12 cm from middle.
16th round: *1dc in dc, 3 ch, skip 2 dc, 1 tr in each of next 2 dc, 3 ch, skip 2 dc *, repeat from *-* until end of round and finish off with 1 sl st in first dc.
17th round: 3 ch (substitutes 1st tr), *3 ch, 1 dc mid between 2 tr, 3 ch, 1 tr before dc and 1 tr after dc *, repeat from *-*, finish off with 3 ch, 1 dc mid between 2 last sts, 3 ch, 1 tr before last dc, 1 sl st in 3rd ch at start of round.
18th round: *1 dc between 2 first tr, 3 ch, 1 tr before and 1 tr after next dc, 3 ch *, repeat from *-* and finish round with 1 sl st.
Repeat round 17 and 18 until piece measures 18 cm.
Crochet next round as follows: 3 dc in each ch loop and 1 dc between 2 tr, throughout round = 98 dc. Crochet 4 rounds with 1 dc in each sts. On last round inc 2 dc evenly = 100 dc.
Now crochet 2 rounds tr as follows:
1st round: *1 tr in each of 3 first dc, 2 tr in in next dc* repeat from *-* = 125 tr.
2nd round: *1 tr in each of 4 first tr, 2 tr in in next tr* repeat from *-* = 150 tr.
Crochet next round as follows: *1 dc in each of 5 first tr, 5 ch, skip 1 tr*, repeat from *-* and finish round with 1 sl st.
