CLOSURES
There are 2 alternatives:
Closure-1 (as seen in photo): Make 2 twisted cords approx. 35 cm long – for each: cut 1 strand each pistachio and mint approx. 90 cm long, twist until tight, fold in half and allow to twist up on itself. Tie a knot at each end. Sew one to right front at the widest point. Sew the other to left front, approx. 16 cm in from the center front at the widest point.
Crocheted buttonhole: Crochet on left front at the widest point on the center front edge. Crochet with 1 strand Paris as follows: 1 sc in st, ch 5, fasten with 1 sc approx. 1 cm below, turn and 6 sc in ch-loop back, finish with 1 sl st in the first sc from previous row.
Sew a small button approx. 16 cm in from the center front of right side, on the back.

Closure-2: Make 2 twisted cords, one approx. 35 cm long as above, and the other approx. 115-155 cm long (begin with 2 strands approx. 290-390 cm long) and sew the shorter cord on right front as described under Closure-1.
Sew the long cord on left front. This cord will go around the waist inside the top and out through an opening in the side seam (see instructions below). Tie cords at the side.

Sew side seams – if you have chosen Closure-2 leave an approx. 1 cm opening 20-21-22-23-24 cm up from cast on edge in left side.
