Gauge: 18 sts x 22 rows on larger needles in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm [4" x 4"].

Garter st, when knitting flat: Knit all sts, all rows.

Pattern: See chart. The pattern is seen from the right side.

= stockinette st (as seen from the right side)
= reverse stockinette st (as seen from the right side)

Pattern 5 (9 row repeat): Knit 3 rows, P 3 rows, K 3 rows.

Front: Cast on 83-92-101 sts on smaller needles. Knit Pattern 4 for 8 cm [3-1/8"] keeping 1 st in garter st at each side. Change to larger needles and knit Pattern 5 over all sts. At the same time after Pattern 4 inc 1 st at each side every 5 cm [2"] 4 times = 91-100-109 sts. When the piece measures 31-32-33 cm [12.25" - 12-5/8" - 33"] inc at each side edge every 4 rows: 1 st 1-2-2 times, then every other row: 1 st 2-1-3 times, 2 sts 2-2-1 times and 3 sts 2-1-0 times = 117-120-123 sts. When the piece measures 41-42-43 cm [16-1/8" - 16.5" - 16-7/8"] inc 1 st at each side every 4 rows 4 times = 125-128-131 sts. When the piece measures approx. 48-50-52 cm [18-7/8" - 19.75" - 20.5"] (adjust to end after 1 row stockinette st – as seen from the right side) then bind off the center 15-16-17 sts for the neck. Bind off at each neck edge every other row: 2 sts 2 times and 1 st 4 times = 47-48-49 sts remain on each shoulder. Bind off when the piece measures 54-56-58 cm [21.25" - 22" - 22-7/8"].

Back: Cast on and knit the same as the front. Inc as on front and when the piece measures approx. 52-54-56 cm [20.5" - 21.25" - 22"] (adjust to end after 1 row stockinette st – as seen from the right side) bind off the center 29-30-31 sts for the neck. On the next row dec 1 st at each neck edge = 47-48-49 sts remain on each shoulder. Bind off when the piece measures 54-56-58 cm [21.25" - 22" - 22-7/8"].

Sleeve: Cast on 41-44-47 sts on smaller needles and repeat Pattern 4 keeping 1 st at each edge in garter st. When the piece measures approx. 10 cm [4"] (adjust to end after 1 row stockinette st – as seen from the right side), change to larger needles and Pattern 5 over all sts. When the piece measures 11 cm [4.25"] inc 1 st at each side every 2 cm [every 0.75"] 13 times = 67-70-73 sts. When sleeve measures 41 cm [16-1/8"] bind off all sts.

Assembly: Sew right shoulder. Pick up approx. 74 to 83 sts (divisible by 3 + 2 sts) around the neck on smaller needles. Knit Pattern 5 once and then repeat Pattern 4 keeping 1 st at each edge in garter st throughout. When the collar measures 7 cm [2.75"] knit 4 rows garter st, then bind off all sts. Sew left shoulder and collar edge. Sew in sleeves. Sew sleeve and side seams.





HAT:

Sizes: One-size

Materials: Garnstudio KARISMA SUPERWASH
100% superwash wool, 50 g/110 m/120 yards
150 g. col. no. 55, light brown heather.

DROPS 3 mm [US 2] double-pointed needles, or size needed to obtain correct gauge.

Gauge: 23 sts x 32 rows on needles 3 in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm [4" x 4"].

Pattern: See chart for Patterns 1, 2 and 3. The pattern is seen from the right side. The chart is placed sideways on the page with the bottom of the chart towards the outer edge of the page.

= knit (as seen from the right side)
= purl (as seen from the right side)
= put 1 st on cable needle behind work, K 2, P 1 from cable needle.
= put 2 sts on cable needle in front of work, P 1, K 2 from cable needle.
= put 2 sts on cable needle in front of work, K 2, K 2 from cable needle.
= K 2 tog
= P 2 tog

Hat: Cast on 160 sts; join and knit 7 cm [2.75"] rib = Pattern 1. Change to Pattern 2 over all sts (there will be 8 repeats around hat) and repeat a total of 3 times. The piece now measures approx. 26 cm [10.25"]. Change to Pattern 3 - dec as shown in chart – that is, dec 16 sts every other row a total of 7 times = 48 sts remain on needles. P 2 tog across next row = 24 sts. pull a double strand of yarn through the remaining sts, then pull tight and fasten. Hat measures approx. 30 cm [11.75"] in height.





SCARF:

Sizes: approx. 17 x 160 cm [6.75" x 63"].

Materials: Garnstudio KARISMA ANGORA-TWEED
70% merino wool, 30% angora, 50 g/145 m/158 yds
150 g. col. no. 06, brown.

DROPS 6 mm [US 10] needles, or size needed to obtain correct gauge.

Gauge: 14 sts x 36 rows in pattern st = 10 x 10 cm [4" x 4"].

Pattern stitch:
Row 1 (right side): K 1 (edge st knit in garter st throughout), * K 1, yo, sl 1 st as if to P *, repeat from * - * , finish with K 1 and 1 garter st edge st.
Row 2: K 1 (garter st edge st), * yo, sl 1 as if to P, K tog the next st and the yo from previous row *, repeat from * - *, finish with yo, sl 1 as if to P, and 1 garter st edge st.
Row 3: K 1 (garter st edge st), * K tog the next st and the yo from previous row, yo, sl 1 as if to P *, repeat from * - *, finish with K tog the next st and the yo from previous row, 1 garter st edge st.
Repeat rows 2-3.

Scarf: Cast on 25 sts with 2 strands Angora-Tweed. Change to 1 strand and knit Pattern stitch - see instructions above - for 160 cm [63"]. Bind off loosely with 2 strands in pattern.
