Pattern: See diagram. The diagram shows the pattern from the RS. English translations for the wording in diagrams are given at the bottom of this pattern and they are given in the vertical order in which they appear in the diagram.

Moss st:
Row 1: *K1, P1*, repeat from *-*
Row 2: P over K and K over P.
Repeat row 2.


Body piece:
Worked back and forth on circular needle from mid front. Cast on 228-240-252 sts on needle size 3 mm with black and work 3 cm moss st – see above. Change to needle size 4 mm and continue in pattern and reverse stocking st. Remember the knitting tension. When piece measures 49-51-54 cm work next row as follows: 55-58-61 sts on front piece, cast off 4 sts for armhole, 110-116-122 sts on back piece, cast off 4 sts for armhole, 55-58-61 sts on front piece. Now complete each piece separately.

Front piece: = 55-58-61 sts. Cast off to shape the armhole on every other row: 2 sts 2-3-4 times, 1 st 3-2-3 times = 48-50-50 sts. When piece measures 67-70-73 cm cast off to shape the neckline on every other row: 4-5-5 sts 1 time, 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 2 times and 1 st 3 times. Cast off remaining sts when piece measures 74-77-80 cm.

Back piece: = 110-116-122 sts. Cast off for armhole as described for front piece = 96-100-100 sts. When piece measures 72-75-78 cm cast off the middle 24-26-26 sts for neck and dec 2 sts on neckline on next row. Cast off remaining sts when piece measures 74-77-80 cm.

Sleeve: Worked in the round. Cast on 48-48-52 sts on double pointed needles size 3 mm with black and work 3 cm moss st. Change to needle size 4 mm and continue in pattern and reverse stocking st, at the same time inc 4-6-2 sts evenly on first round = 52-54-54 sts. At the same time inc 2 sts mid under arm on every 4th round a total of 24-25-25 times = 100-104-104 sts. When piece measures 45-45-46 cm cast off 4 sts mid under arm and complete piece back and forth on needle. Cast off to shape the sleeve cap each side on every other row: 4 sts 8 times, cast off remaining sts. Piece measures approx 52-52-53 cm.

Assembly: Sew the shoulder seams. Pick up approx 140 sts along left front piece on needle size 3 mm with black and work 3 cm moss st back and forth on needle, cast off. Repeat along right front piece, but after 1 cm make 8 buttonholes evenly distributed. 1 buttonhole = cast off 2 sts and cast on 2 new sts on return row. Pick up approx 130 to 140 sts round neckline from WS on needle size 3 mm with black (do not pick up on front bands) and work moss st back and forth on needle, at the same time inc on every 4th row as follows: 2 sts on both shoulders and 1 st at the beg and the end of row (= 6 inc per row). Cast off when collar measures 7 cm. Set in sleeves and sew on buttons.


SLEEVELESS TOP
Size S – M/L
Materials: DROPS Karisma Superwash from Garnstudio
400- 400 g colour no 38, plum

DROPS circular and double pointed needles size 2.5 mm and 4 mm – or size needed to get 20 sts x 26 rows in pattern = 10 x 10 cm.

DROPS buttons, no 514, 5 pcs.

Pattern: See diagram. The diagram shows the pattern from the RS and the entire pattern is worked in reverse stocking st. English translations for the wording in diagrams are given at the bottom of this pattern and they are given in the vertical order in which they appear in the diagram.

Garter st, back and forth on needle: K all rows.

Rib: *K1, P1*, repeat from *-*.


Body piece:
Worked back and forth on circular needle from mid front. Cast on 208-224 sts on needle size 2.5 mm with plum and work 4 rows garter st and then 4 rows rib. P 1 row, at the same time inc 66-66 sts evenly = 274-290 sts. Change to needle size 4 mm and work next row as follows from RS: K2, M.2, M.3, M.1, 32-40 sts of M.4, M.1, M.3, M.1, M.3, M.1, 32-40 sts of M.4, M.1, M.3, M.5, K2. Continue in pattern like this. Remember the knitting tension. When piece measures 23-24 cm work next row as follows: 68-72 sts on front piece, cast off 4 sts for armhole, 130-138 sts on back piece, cast off 4 sts for armhole, 68-72 on front piece. Now complete each piece separately.

Front piece: = 68-72 sts. Cast off to shape the armhole on every other row: 3 sts 1-2 times, 2 sts 3 times, 1 st 3-2 times = 56-58 sts. When piece measures 30-30 cm cast off to shape the neckline on every other row: 4-5 sts 1 time, 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 2 times and 1 st 7 times, and then on every 4th row: 1 st 5 times. At the same time when piece measures 45-47 cm cast off for shoulder on every other row towards neckline: 8 sts 3 times, 9-10 sts 1 time. All sts are now cast off. Piece measures approx 48-50 cm.

Back piece: = 130-138 sts. Cast off for armhole as described for front piece = 106-110 sts. When piece measures 45-47 cm cast off for shoulder as described for front piece. At the same time when piece measures 46-48 cm cast off the middle 32-34 sts for neck and dec 2 sts on on neckline on every other row 2 times. All sts are now cast off. Piece measures approx 48-50 cm.

Assembly: Sew the shoulder seams. Pick up approx 100 sts along left front piece on needle size 2.5 mm with plum and work 3 cm rib back and forth on needle, cast off. Repeat along right front piece, but after 1 cm make 5 buttonholes evenly distributed. 1 buttonhole = cast off 2 sts and cast on 2 new sts on return row. Pick up approx 140 sts round neckline on needle size 2.5 mm with plum and work 4 rows garter st and then 4 rows rib, cast off. Pick up approx 110 sts round armhole on needle size 2.5 mm with plum and work 4 rows garter st, then 4 rows rib and cast off. Sew on buttons.
