Heel decreasaes :
Row 1 (= RS): Work row until 6-6-7-7 sts remain, slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso. Turn piece.
Row 2 (= WS): Work row until 6-6-7-7 sts remain, slip 1 st as if to P, P1, psso. Turn piece.
Row 3 (= RS): Work row until 5-5-6-6 sts remain, slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso. Turn piece.
Row 4 (= WS): Work row until 5-5-6-6 sts remain slip 1 st as if to P, P1, psso. Turn piece.
Continue dec like this with 1 less st before each dec until there are 12-14-14-16 sts on row.

Right sock: Worked in the round in double pointed needles. Cast on 66-72-78-84 sts on double pointed needles size 2.5 mm [US 1] with Fabel. K 1 round and continue in rib as follows: * K3, P3 *, repeat from *-*. When rib measures approx 5-6-7-8 cm [2”-2 3/8”-2 ¾”-3 1/8”] dec 1 st in all P-sections = 55-60-65-70 sts. Continue with * K3, P2 * until rib measures 6-7-8-9 cm [2 3/8”-2 ¾”-3 1/8”-3½”]. K 1 round at the same time dec 1-2-1-2 sts evenly on round = 54-58-64-68 sts. Insert a Marking Thread (MT) at beg of round and continue in stockinette st. Remember the knitting gauge! When piece measures 11-12-12-12 cm [4 3/8”-4¾”-4¾”-4¾”] from casting on row dec 1 st on both sides of MT on every 5-5-4-5 cm [2”-2”-1½”-2”] a total of 2-2-3-3 times = 50-54-58-62 sts.
When piece measures 19-21-23-25 cm [7½”-8¼”-9”-9¾”] keep the first 11-12-13-14 sts on needle, slip the next 28-30-32-34 sts on a stitch holder (= mid upper foot) and keep the last 11-12-13-14 sts on needle = 22-24-26-28 sts for heel. Now work 4.5-5-5.5-6 cm [1¾”-2”-2¼”-2 3/8”] stockinette st back and forth on heel sts. Insert a MT in heel and now measure piece from here. Dec for heel – see Heel decreases.
After heel decreases pick up 12-13-14-16 sts on both sides of heel and slip the 28-30-32-34 sts from stitch holder back on needle = 64-70-74-82 sts. Insert a MT on each side of the 28-30-32-34 sts mid upper foot. Continue in stockinette st, at the same time dec as follows: K tog into back of loop the last 2 sts before the 28-30-32-34 sts mid upper foot and K tog the first 2 sts after the 28-30-32-34 sts mid upper foot. Dec like this on every other round a total of 9-9-9-10 times = 46-52-56-62 sts. Continue until piece measures 15-17-18-20 cm [6”-6¾”-7”-8”] from MT on heel and now work next round as follows: slip the 28-30-32-34 sts mid upper foot on a stitch holder and slip the remaining 18-22-24-28 sts under foot on another stitch holder.

Toe 1 (little toe): Slip 6 sts from stitch holder on upper foot + 2-3-3-5 sts from stitch holder under foot back on needle, and cast on 3 new sts towards stitch holders = 11-12-12-14 sts. Work stockinette st in the round for 2-2.5-2.5-3 cm [3/4”-7/8”-7/8”-1 1/8”]. Now K tog all sts 2 by 2. Cut the thread and pull through remaining sts.

Foot: Slip all sts from stitch holders back on needle, cast on 3 new sts towards Toe 1 = 41-46-50-54 sts. Work 2 rounds stockinette st. Keep the 3 new sts on needle + 4-5-5-6 sts from upper foot and 4-4-5-5 sts from under foot and slip the remaining sts back on stitch holders (18-19-21-22 sts upper foot and 12-15-16-18 sts under foot).

Toe 2: = 11-12-13-14 sts, cast on 3 new sts towards stitch holders = 14-15-16-17 sts. Work stockinette st in the round for approx 2.5-3-3-3.5 cm [7/8”-1 1/8”-1 1/8”-1¼”’]. Now K tog all sts 2 by 2. Cut the thread and pull through remaining sts.

Toe 3: Slip 4-5-5-6 sts from thread on upper foot + 4-4-5-5 sts from thread under foot back on needle, cast on 3 new sts towards Toe 2 and cast on 3 new sts towards stitch holders = 14-15-16-17 sts. Work stockinette st in the round for approx 3-3-3.5-3.5 cm [1 1/8”-1 1/8”-1¼”-1¼”]. Now K tog all sts 2 by 2. Cut the thread and pull through remaining sts.

Toe 4: Like Toe 3 (= 14-15-16-17 sts), but work approx 4-4-4.5-4.5 cm [1½”-1½”-1¾”-1¾”] stockinette st. Now K tog all sts 2 by 2. Cut the thread and pull through remaining sts.

Toe 5 (big toe): Slip the remaining 14-16-17-18 sts from stitch holders back on needle and cast on 3 new sts towards Toe 4 = 17-19-20-21 sts. Work stockinette st in the round for approx 4-4.5-5-5.5 cm [1½”-1¾”-2”-2¼”]. Now K tog all sts 2 by 2. Cut the thread and pull through remaining sts.

Left sock: Like right sock, but beg knitting the toes at the opposite side.

Assembly: Sew any small holes between the toes.
