We are now sending the new fall/winter catalogs to our DROPS dealers. They are printed in a limited edition and and each catalog costs only 1£/$2 over the counter and 2£/$4 by mail order. DROPS fall/winter 09/10 collection is very varied. From fine to heavy, garments with texture and patterned. Jackets, sweaters, ponchos, shawls and lots of accessories. The designs are chosen on the basis of an overall assessment, where voting results and accompanying comments have been important.

Garter st back and forth on needle: K all rows.

Pattern: See diagram M.1. Diagram shows the pattern from the RS.


Hat: Worked from side to side back and forth on needle. Cast on 30-31-32 sts on needle size 8 mm [US 11] with Eskimo. Work garter st – see above, at the same time continue as follows: * work 26 sts, turn piece and work 16 sts on return row. Turn piece and work 20-21-22 sts, turn piece and work all sts on row. Work 26 sts, turn piece and work 26 sts on return row *, repeat from *-*. Bind off when piece measures 52-54-56 cm [20½”-21¼”-22”] where longest (= lower edge).
Assembly: Sew cast on and bind off rows tog. Sew a thread trough edge at top and tighten.

Scarf: Cast on 19 sts on needle size 8 mm [US 11] with Eskimo. Work 4 rows garter st – see above – and continue in M.1 with 2 garter sts each side. When piece measures approx 159 cm [62½”], adjust to after a full of half repeat of M.1, work 4 rows garter st on all sts and bind off. Scarf measures approx 160 cm [63”].
