Decreasing tip: Dec 1 dc as follows:
Crochet 1 dc but wait with the last pull-through (= 2 sts on hook), crochet next dc and now pull yarn through all 3 sts on hook = 1 dc dec.
Oven glove: Crochet from wrist down, towards the fingers.
Crochet 46-49-52 ch with crochet hook size 5 mm and Ice. Turn piece, skip the first 12 ch (loop for strap) and continue with 1 dc in each ch = 34-37-40 dc. Crochet 1 sl st in the first dc on row and now continue in the round with 1 dc in each dc. Remember the crochet tension! When piece measures 16-17-18 cm work opening for thumb as follows: crochet 8-10-10 ch, skip the first 12-13-14 dc and crochet 1 dc in next dc. Complete the round. Crochet 1 dc in each of the 8-10-10 ch, and now complete the round with 1 dc in each dc = 30-34-36 dc on round. When piece measures 24-26-27 cm (5-6-7 rounds remaining) insert a marking thread (MT) each side (= 15-17-18 dc between each MT). Now dec as follows – see Decreasing tip: Dec 1 dc before and after each MT (= 4 dec per round) a total of 5-6-7 times = 10-10-8 dc on round. Turn the glove inside out and crochet tog at the top with a row of dc through both layers. Cut the thread. Piece measures 28-30-32 cm.
Thumb: Crochet 21-23-25 dc round thumb opening. Crochet 2 rounds with 1 dc in each dc. On next round dec 1 dc on the inside of thumb = 20-22-24 dc. When thumb measures 6-6-6 cm (3-3-4 rounds remaining) insert a MT each side (10-11-12 dc between each MT). Dec 1 dc before and after each MT (= 4 dec per round) a total of 3-3-4 times = 8-10-8 dc on round. Turn thumb inside out and crochet tog at the top with a row of dc through both layers. Cut the thread. Thumb measures 8-8-9 cm.
