Crochet tension: 14 tr x 8 rows = 10 x 10cm
Crochet info: On the beg. of each round substitute each tr with 3 ch. Finish each round with a sl st in the 3rd ch from beg. of round.
Stripy pattern: * 1 round of black, 1 round of charcoal grey, 1 round of light grey, 1 round of charcoal grey *, repeat from *-*

Back side: Crochet 5 ch with black and make a loop with a sl st. Continue to crochet in stripy pattern as described above as follows:
1st round: Crochet 12 tr in the ch-loop - read crochet info!
2nd. round: Crochet 2 tr in each tr = 24 tr.
3rd. round: Crochet 1 tr in the first tr and then 2 tr in the next tr. Repeat until finish = 36 tr.
4th round: Crochet 1 tr in each of the first 2 tr and 2 tr in the next tr. Repeat until finish = 48 tr.
Repeat the inc. of 12 tr on each round the same way, so there will be 1 more tr for every time you crochet 2 tr. When the piece measures 22 cm in diameter (adjust so you finish with a round of charcoal grey) continue to crochet as follows (continue the stripy pattern as before): Crochet 1 round without any inc. until 8 cm left on the row, turn, *crochet 1 sl st over the first tr, then crochet with inc. as before until 1 tr left on row, turn*, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times. After the last row the piece measures approx. 30 cm in diameter at the widest point. Cut the thread.

Front side: Crochet as back side, but don’t cut the thread after the last row.
Instead crochet 4 rows in charcoal grey back and forth without any inc. ( i.e. 1 tr in each tr, also crochet 1 tr in the first and the last tr of the row) = the side pieces of the bag.
Cut the thread.

Assembly: Sew the back to the side pieces at the front. Sew in the outer part of the edge -1 stitch in each stitch. Crochet 2 rows of dc in charcoal grey around the opening at the top of the bag.

Strap: Crochet 8 tr with charcoal grey at the top edge along one of the side pieces of the bag. Continue to crochet back and forth with 1 tr in each tr until the handle measures approx. 70 cm. Cut the thread and sew the handle tight to the top of the other side piece.
