Knitting tension: 17 sts x 22 rows stocking sts with 1 thread of each yarn (= 2 threads) = 10 x 10 cm
Garter st: Knit all rows back and forth on needle.

Back piece: Knit piece back and forth on needle. Cast on 118-126-134-142-158-166 sts (incl 1 edge sts on each side) on circular needle size 4.5 with 1 thread of each yarn (= 2 threads). P1 row from WS. Knit next row as follows: 1 edge st, * K4, P4 * repeat from *-* and finish off with 4 garter st and 1 edge st. Continue until rib measures 4 cm. Change to needle size 5 mm. Now knit 2 rows garter sts – at the same time as dec evenly on 1st row 24-25-28-27-33-30 sts evenly = 94-101-106-115-125-136 sts. Remember knitting tension! Complete sweater in stocking sts. At the same time when piece measures 6 cm cast off 1 sts on each side on every 4 cm 7-7-7-8-8-8 times in total = 80-87-92-99-109-120 sts. Then, when piece measures 36-37-38-39-40-41 cm inc 1 sts on each side for sleeves on every 4th -4th -4th -3rd -3rd -3rd cm 4-4-4-5-5-5 times in total = 88-95-100-109-119-130 sts.
When piece measures 68-70-72-74-76-78 cm cast off middle 24-25-26-27-27-28 sts for neck. Continuing cast off 1 sts on next row at neckline = 31-34-36-40-45-50 sts left on each sleeve/shoulder. Cast off when piece measures 70-72-74-76-78-80 cm.

Left front piece: Knit piece back and forth on needle. Cast on 58-66-66-74-74-82 sts (incl 1 edge sts on each side) on circular needle size 4.5 mm with 1 thread of each yarn (= 2 threads). P1 row from WS. Knit next row as follows: 1 edge st, * P4, K4 * repeat from *-* and finish with 1 edge st. Continue until rib measures 4 cm. Change to needle size 5 mm and knit 2 rows garter sts: At the same time as dec evenly on 1st row 12-16-14-17-12-15 sts evenly = 46-50-52-57-62-67 sts. Then complete piece in stocking sts. At the same time when piece measures 6 cm cast off on side like back piece. At the same time when piece measures 10 cm cast off 1 sts mid front on every 5 -4½-4½ -4½ -4½ -4½ cm 12-13-13-14-14-14 times in total. At the same time when piece measures 36-37-38-39-40-41 cm cast off for armhole on side as on back piece. After all increases and decreases there are 31-34-36-40-45-50 sts on each sleeve/shoulder. Cast off when piece measures 70-72-74-76-78-80 cm.

Right front piece: Knit like left piece but reversed.

Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Sew sleeve and side seams in one within 1 edge st.

Sleeve edge: Pick up 96-112 sts (dividable with 8) around sleeve on double pointed needles size 4.5 mm with 1 thread of each yarn (= 2 threads). K1 round and P1 round. Continue in Rib as follows: * K4, P4 *, repeat from *-*. Knit until Rib measures 8 cm. Now knit 1 round stocking sts. Cast off.

Rib edge around jacket: Pick up 332-340-348-356-364-380 sts (dividable with 8+4) within 1 edge sts around opening of jacket (i.e. up along right front piece, back neck and down along left front piece) on circular needle size 4.5 mm with 1 thread of each yarn (= 2 threads). Knit 1 row garter st from WS. Now knit next row as follows: 4 st garter st, * K4, P4 * repeat from *-* and finish off with K4 and 4 sts garter st. Cast off K over K and P over P when rib measures 16 cm.
