DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE (80 cm) size 5.5 mm – or size needed to get 16 sts x 20 rows in stocking st with 2 threads = 10 x 10 cm.

GARTER ST (back and forth on needle):
K all rows.

DECREASING TIP (neckline):
Make all dec from RS inside 5 garter sts.
Before 5 garter sts: K2 tog
After 5 garter sts: slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso

TUNIC:
Worked in the round on circular needle. Cast on 230-240-260-280-310-330 sts on circular needle size 4.5 mm with 1 thread Alpaca and 1 thread Vivaldi. Work rib, K2/P3. When rib measures 12-12-13-13-14-14 cm change to circular needle size 5.5 mm and continue in stocking st, AT THE SAME TIME dec 58-56-64-68-78-78 sts evenly on first round (K tog approx every 3rd and 4th st) = 172-184-196-212-232-252 sts. Insert 2 markers in piece, 1 at beg of round and 1 after 86-92-98-106-116-126 sts. When piece measures 13-13-14-14-15-15 cm dec 1 st on each side of both markers and repeat the dec on every 3.5-4-4-4.5-4.5-4.5 cm a total of 9 times = 136-148-160-176-196-216 sts. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When piece measures 47-49-51-53-55-56 cm divide the piece in 2 and complete front and back pieces separately.

BACK PIECE:
= 68-74-80-88-98-108 sts. Continue back and forth on circular needle size. Cast on new sts for sleeves each side at the end of every row: 8-7-7-6-5-4 sts 2 times and 8-8-7-6-5-4 sts 1 time, AT THE SAME TIME after the last inc work garter st on 5 sts each side (sleeve edges) – garter st, see above = 116-118-122-124-128-132 sts (work the 5 sts each side in garter st throughout). When piece measures 69-72-75-78-81-83 cm work garter st on the middle 26-28-28-30-32-34 sts, with remaining sts as before. After 4 rows garter st cast off the middle 14-16-16-18-20-22 sts for neck and complete each shoulder/sleeve separately. Cast off 1 st on neckline on next row = 50-50-52-52-53-54 sts left on shoulder/sleeve. Continue in stocking st with 5 garter sts each side. Cast off when piece measures 71-74-77-80-83-85 cm.

FRONT PIECE:
= 68-74-80-88-98-108 sts. Cast on new sts for sleeves each side as described for back piece. AT THE SAME TIME when piece measures 50-52-54-56-58-59 cm work garter st on the middle 10 sts with remaining sts as before. After 4 rows garter st divide the piece in 2 for neck and complete each side separately.

LEFT FRONT PIECE:
= 58-59-61-62-64-66 sts. Continue in stocking st with 5 garter sts each side. AT THE SAME TIME dec 1 st inside the 5 garter sts on neckline – SEE DECREASING TIP – and repeat the dec on every 2.5-2-2-2-2-2 cm a total of 8-9-9-10-11-12 times = 50-50-52-52-53-54 sts left on shoulder/sleeve. Cast off when piece measures 71-74-77-80-83-85 cm.

RIGHT FRONT PIECE:
= 58-59-61-62-64-66 sts. Like left front piece, but mirrored.

ASSEMBLY:
Sew shoulder seams and under arm seams in outer loops of sts.
