DROPS KID SILK
A luxury yarn in an exclusive mix of
75% mohair SuperKid, 25% silk.
The yarn comes in balls of 25 gr and 200 meter.
DROPS Kid Silk is feather light, and has a soft
luxurious colour range. KidSilk gives a sophisticated look,
whether it's used alone or together with other qualities.
It is perfect for smaller garments such as shawls, shoulder warmers and feminine tops. If you use KidSILK on its own without other yarn qualities, then we can recommend double thread for a more textured result.

DROPS Big Fabel
– Our exciting thick sock yarn in balls in 100g balls.
75% wool superwash / 25% polyamide
Due to popular demand, and stemming from the the success of Fabel all over the world, we are now introducing DROPS Big Fabel. Big Fabel is produced in the same fine quality as the ever popular DROPS Fabel, but is spun thicker and with 4 threads. Big Fabel is spun with thick winter socks in mind, but is a very versatile, all-round yarn and will be used for gloves, hats, bags, and accessories, as well as for Jackets and Sweaters. DROPS Big Fabel has a popular gauge with a lot of pattern support. All patterns in Alaska, Silke-Alpaca and Paris kan be used.
The picture to the left is not knitted with Big Fabel, but shows a typical design for this yarn.
DROPS Merino Extrafine, uses the same fine spinning construction as Drops Merino, but instead of standard merino wool, we have used Extrafine quality, 19,5 micron, superwash treated.
This kind of cable spun yarn has very special knitting and user characteristics. Roundness, good volume, elasticity and a beautiful surface finish are some of the distinguishing features. The stitches are clear and well defined, and it is very easy to achieve an even surface and even stitch look.
This makes this yarn very suitable for knitted garments with fine textures like cables, moss stitch etc.

Ecology is in, and with that so is yarn in linnen.
Our new quality DROPS Lin, 100% linnen, is an
exciting addition. Linnen is such a contempory and beautiful material. Garments knitted in linnen has
their totaly unique impression, both in ”shape” and look.
Lin can with great result be knitted on larger needles and big stitches.
Needles size no 4 mm [US 6]: 21 sts x 28 rows = 10x10 cm [4"x4"]
Needles size no 5 mm [US 8]: 17 sts x 22 rows = 10x10 cm [4"x4"]
