Knitted DROPS scarf with stripes worked from side to side in ”Delight” and ”Alpaca”.

Measurements:
Approx. 185 cm long x 32 cm width in the middle.

Materials:
DROPS DELIGHT from Garnstudio
50 g colour no 11, lilac/green mix.
And use: DROPS ALPACA from Garnstudio
50 g colour no 517m, medium grey
50 g colour no 501m, light grey

DROPS STRAIGHT NEEDLES SIZE 3.5 mm - or size needed to get 23 sts x 30 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm.

SCARF:
Worked back and forth on needle from side to side.
Cast on 6 sts on needle size 3.5 mm with light grey Alpaca.
Work 6 rows in stocking st back and forth (1st row = WS) – AT THE SAME TIME on 4th row (= RS), inc 1 st at the end of row by working 2 sts in outermost st. Repeat inc on every 4th row upwards. AT THE SAME TIME after 6 rows with light grey, continue with stripes as follows: 2 rows Delight, 2 rows light grey Alpaca.
REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION!
Continue with stripes and inc until there are 70 sts on needle. Now switch light grey Alpaca with medium grey Alpaca. Continue with stripes and inc until there are 75 sts on needle. Work 3 rows over the 75 sts, then dec 1 st at the end of row (from RS) by K the last 2 sts tog. Repeat dec on every 4th row until 6 sts remain on needle. Work 4 rows with medium grey. Cast off.
