DROPS Wrist warmers with Wavy pattern in ”Alpaca”

Measure:
Around approx 19 cm [7½"].
Length approx 22 cm [8,6"]
Materials:DROPS Alpaca from Garnstudio
50 g color no. 6347, purple
DROPS Needle size 3,5 mm [US 4] – or needle size needed to make 24 sts x 30 rows with pattern on 10 x 10 cm [4" x 4"].
Garter stitches (back and forth): Knit the stitches on every row.
Wavy Pattern: See diagr M.1. Diagram is showing pattern from RS.
Wrist warmer: Cast on 45 sts on 2 needles size 3,5 mm [US 4] with Alpaca (this will make the casting on edge elastic). Pull out one needle and knit 4 rows in garter sts. Then knit next row like this from RS: 3 sts in garter sts, M.1 over the following 39 sts and 3 sts in garter sts.
Continue this pattern. When piece measures approx 21 cm [8,3"] - adjust after a full repeat in height - knit 2 rows in garter sts. Then work first row in M.1 (= RS), and then bind off loosely with K over all sts from WS so that edge will wave a little.
Assembly: Sew tog the wrist warmer edge to edge in the outermost stitch loops along the longest sides. Knit one more wrist warmer.
