Remember that how much yarn you need to purchase really depends on the size of jumper you are going to knit, so you should start by choosing the size: Measure a jumper that fits you - or whoever will wear it - and compare those measurements with our size charts to choose the best fit.

- DROPS double pointed needles, size 5 mm
- DROPS circular needles, size 5 mm - in lengths 40 and 80 cm for the stocking stitch.
- DROPS double pointed needles, size 4 mm
- DROPS circular needles, size 4 mm - in lengths 40 and 80 cm for the rib.
Remember that the needle size indicated is only a guide. The knitting tension for this pattern is 17 stitches in width and 22 rows in height with stocking stitch = 10 x 10 cm. If you have too many stitches on 10 cm, change to a larger needle size. If you have too few stitches on 10 cm, change to a smaller needle size.
- DROPS crochet hook, size 4 mm – to make the reindeer’s necklace.
- A pendant for the reindeer’s necklace. We used a small red heart of approx. 2 cm in diameter. Just keep in mind that it must have a hole to thread the row of chain-stitches through.
