Size

The blanket will consist of a centre of granny squares surrounded by several types of edges with different patterns and stitches. To make the blanket bigger you can:
1) Make more granny squares to make the centre bigger
2) Make more rows of each pattern around the square
Calculate ca. 48 g of yarn per 8 squares.
